Wow, EDI is approx 480,000 pax a month in front of GLA - in JANUARY.
Ahead by more pax that actually travelled through @GLA_Airport itself

Astonishing figures really. EDI being just over 50k shy of carrying 1m pax in January shows how far they've sailed off into the sunset under AGS's watch. Also, they had more pax in January than the four other Scottish airports combined, a stat we'll need to get used to as the year progresses. The new owners have some real heavy lifting to do.
*Disclaimer: I'm not an EDI fan boy before anyone starts, just stating a fact.

I’m no fanboy either - and I’ve been stating facts on here for YEARS

Guys - we know these facts and that the new owners have a mountain to climb, especially if they decide to judge themselves in the context of what’s happening at EDI. I don’t think we need reminded every time someone posts the GLA growth results.

Except we do need reminded.

It would seem rather myopic not to consider GLA's results in the context of what's happening elsewhere in the central Scotland (and wider UK) air travel market. I'm sure most members of the forum would be able to have a reasoned discussion of that topic.
