I believe today marks the 25th anniversary of the first easyJet service between Stansted and Glasgow, using their Boeing 737-200. Apparently the inbound flight was a great success but the outbound back to London was barely full, prompting a nervous Stelios to wonder what he'd started ? 25 years on, they seem to be doing ok ( all things considered).

I flew with them from GLA-LTN not long after they started the route. Iā€™m sure it wasG-BECG ex Britannia / GBAirways a 737-200. Spent the morning with BY ops the lunch and pm with Monarch. Happy days.
