Stobart/Aer Lingus Regional gone under ?

Rumours abound this morning that Stobart Air who operate the current Aer Lingus Regional Contract have been fired by Aer Lingus and subsequently appointed a liquidator. If true this is a year ahead of losing the contract to a put together outfit 'Emerald Air' and somewhat smells of mackerel. All EI-R flights to Glasgow and elsewhere are cancelled. I suspect EI mainline fleet may now operate a reduced interim timetable.

Mainline covering things for a bit seems likely although Belfast city could be left for a good few months before the new operator can get themselves up and running?

Apparently Loganair offering rescue flights on the BHD service. Had Loganair not recently pulled out of that routing to give EI sole operator status ?

Certainly not top priority, but this emergency schedule is for the next few days only. Loganair could in fact have a proposal of their own I suppose ?
