FedEx lost to EDI

Looks like GLA loses its CDG flight via NCL to EDI.

Flight switches to NCL-EDI-CDG on a Swift 737-400, from an ATR.
Not sure if the Stansted flight remains, suspect its a goner too.

So is that even more freight being driven to EDI from GLA for forwarding ? Just at the time the M8 is a complete car park in several places. You couldn't write this stuff.

Looks like AGS just aren't interested in the cargo/mail side of things, which baffles me. I thought with the space created by Abbotsinch Road being re-directed, we would have seen a new cargo area being developed and an attempt to get some of the lost business back from EDI/PIK , but sadly no !

The Stansted flight hasn’t operated for a while.

Take it this is FedEx consolidating their operations. Pretty sure the Air Contractors Liege flight at EDI is operated for FedEx following their takeover of TNT.

I think so MAN lost cargo flights as well.

Could've just typed "Looks like AGS aren't interested". AGS are seriously ripping my knitting now.

I know , just seemed logical that more space should mean some sort of expansion ! Clearly not with AGS at the helm !

I don't think that has anything to do with GLA, despite the fancy fly through videos on show concerning the aviation potential for the project, which I suspect were just speculative 'Here's what you could do' type things ? The fact the old road is now open again (albeit rough in places) would suggest there's no particular rush to get anything done. The new manufacturing innovation campus building on the other hand, looks exactly like a modern airport terminal when viewed from the front. How ironic...
