Forthcoming Diamond Jubilee

A certain company, known to all of us and loved by many, turns 60 in May.
Newcastle Airport is planning to celebrate this with an exhibition of service over the years, photos, holiday brochures and asking the public to provide details of their flights/holidays.
A trend setter, ground breaker and world leader: I have a painting hanging in our hall wall generously given to me by Amanda McMillan following one of our get togethers.
I have books at home about them, including one co written by myself, best friend and piper one.
I’m not saying it’s name; I’ll post a potted history closer to the date but shall be in Germany that weekend however us look forward to flying with them again, from GLA, in June.
That’s the heads up. Hopefully GLA will follow suit and honour their history, service and continued, expanded?, business.
