How did this get to being to no 747's and no GLA within a day ?

Things will get worse before they get better I fear

So just watched the BBC News report and it sounds more like temporary LGW withdrawal as the 744's leave early. Presumably incoming leisure configured A350 or A339Neo will pick this up in 2021/22 if that plan still holds ?

They also want to be back to 60% of regular flying by 2020 year end. So assuming there's to be no GLA this year, will there be any next year or by 2022 ? What happens to those who already had their Virgin Holidays booked for later this year, ex GLA, once flying resumes ? Are they going to be consolidated into MAN traffic or will an A330 appear here ?

Yep, rumours of their GLA withdrawal are I’ll informed.

Not only that but loads and profits are astronomical at GLA. Even with downsizing in the London market this little gem should remain.
