Winter 2022/2023 Start of Season Report
Winter 2022/2023 Start of Season Report was released today, some key points listed below;
2,883,981 seats on sale from GLA
MAD showing 18 flights available (spilt between Jet2 and TUI)
TUI fly Netherlands showing with 4 flights all to or from AMS
Vueling not taking any slots for this winter (loss of approx 7,480 seats)
Ryanair not taking any slots for WRO (loss of 16,260 seats)
Ryanair ALC adds 18,672 seats
Ryanair CRL adds 18,876
Loss of WRO is offset slightly by these two routes
LTN taking a 25% reduction in capacity compared to this W21/22
Coming as no surprise to anybody but BlueAir have returned all slots.
I'll post a google sheet on my website later today that has all the information broken down by route.

I can do ABZ as well but i'll stick with the three Central Belt ones for now. GLA one also has logos of the airlines operating under each route, PIK you can work it out and I cba doing it with EDI tonight.

Just been on tui and jet2 websites and cannot find any flights to Madrid this winter. Where are they to be found?

I’ve had a look through the document and all I could see was Jet2 have enough slots to operate 4 return flights and TUI 5 return flights.Jeremy Kemp wrote: ↑Wed Oct 05, 2022 3:17 pm Just been on tui and jet2 websites and cannot find any flights to Madrid this winter. Where are they to be found?

I’ll keep looking and see if I can find out any more information.

Madrid flights will be taking Celtic fans to watch them against Real Madrid.
