TUI Melbourne

Post by awwdabaaby »

I couldn't sleep last night and heard an aircraft go over so got FR24 on. Anyway I noticed TUI 3/4 of the way over the Atlantic, so checked and saw the Melbourne flight had an arrival time of 02:15 and a departure time from MLB of 13.30

Investigating a bit more, the Sunday has operated Inbound at this time the past 3 flights, which begs the question, have TUI shot themselves in the foot with Melbourne and could a move back to SFB or even MCO on the cards.

It's not just the GLA flights affected by these times, the MAN flight was due in at 03.45 this morning.

Cruises arrive into Port Canaveral around 7am, with departures between 4-5pm on a Sunday according to the schedules on the Port Canaveral website. The timing’s definitely seem to fit as they would allow passengers arriving at MLB time to clear immigration and customs and then get to the port clear the security procedures and board the ship.

The other thing the early arrivals back into the UK do is give some downtime to the aircraft and also allow a bigger window for positioning flights. We saw a few delays last year due late positioning flights.
