Does anyone know for how long the 8.30am KLm arrival will be operated by them. It seems to have been operating for at least the last 3 weeks.

Scheduled until 8th September but subject to change depending on how KLM can manage its CityHopper fleet as the E195-E2 fleet have engine issues

All this extra business will help keep them afloat - for now!

Rather like all these Baltic and Slovak ACMI carriers.

They've been around a long time, originally called WDL, and are Germany's 2nd oldest airline with over 60 years operations. They are Cologne-based, and have always been a provider of regional aircraft, originally with Friendships, then latterly with BAe146s. Re-named to German Airways in December 2020, but continuing to be a provider of regional jets to airlines needing additional capacity, now taking advantage of the availability of Embraer 190s in the 2nd hand market.
