Jet2.com and Jet2 Holidays have launched Twilight Check-In at Glasgow Airport with the service coming online from August 1st.

The service will be available in Terminal 2 between 1630 and 2100.

As a result, the airline will be the first to offer this service at Glasgow Airport and could act as a catalyst for easyJet, British Airways and TUI to offer the service

I did this at Manchester Airport 10 years ago with TUI, we had a 06.00 flight and it was so stress free

This will likely remain a unique offering to Jet 2 as T2 has its own baggage sort area and has the room to store the bags overnight securely. The main terminal baggage sort area doesn’t have the room to house extra baggage carts for next morning departures alongside the baggage carts for that evenings departures.

Just a pity this couldn’t have been implemented for the start of the summer season rather than two thirds of the way through.

From what I have seen on the easyJet website they will open twilight check in from next weekend for all flights departing until 0830.

The service will be available from 1600 until 2100
