Putting some meat on the bones of a reasonable month.
12mth rolling total: 7.27m
Nov23 Domestic: 253973 (+ 7%)
Nov23 International: 251923 of which EU 197502 (+ 16%), NON-EU 54421 (+ 41%).
Dubai +29% at 25856 = 83% LF on 517-seat A380s.
Paris CDG a stand-out at +178% thanks to increased Easyjet services. FRA down 11% but AMS +29%. Strong performance on KEF at +66% to 10184.

Not bad. KEF loads are very encouraging and show demand for TATL travel is there if only US based carriers would take their head out the sand. DXB is a bit lower than I'd like to be honest.

I agree. I just feel it's a bit chicken and egg. Higher loads = second flight. Second flight improves loads through connection opportunities. Just need EK to take the plunge.

This is definitely true, but there seems to be arguments they're short of aircraft or crews? If they're not going to expand then GLA need to get other airlines in that will provide what's needed. The idea that if GLA deal in any competitors, then EK will leave is disproved by most airports in Europe that EK serve!
Looking at the domestics, GLA-BHX is down to 8.3k from over 15k in Nov 22 (whilst a certain other airport has gone up by 13k in the same period). This is surely down to EZY's poor schedule on a biz heavy route. We really need them to operate a decent schedule year round, allowing biz day returns.
I did hear a vague rumour that LM might look at this route, but if they started it EZY would likely just up frequency to force them off then go back to the poor schedule afterwards.

In what sense? It's really up to EK to judge the route's performance and LF alone is not a good indicator.

I know that LF alone can't be the only factor. I'd just think that to get them to add a 350 seat 77W either on top of the A380 or 2 daily 777W the load factor would ideally be higher.

Fully agree on the BHx schedule for EZY. I regularly use it for work and it’s not the first time i’ve had to go along the road because of the poor schedule.
LM should take the plunge but their fares do tend to get a bit outrageous at times for a British Isles domestic flight even if their schedule is good.

Yes, it's a bread and butter route that iirc could contribute up to 20k a month back in the FlyBe days, so the current service doesn't seem to be cutting it.
