More of the same but will take all the crumbs we can get.
Apparently XQ are a good product too - holiday love child of LH and TK

It was dissapointing when Sun Express announced this summer's UK expansion and went into LBA, NCL and EDI, but not GLA - so its good to see us catching up.

I am not convinced that this will be marginal growth ie impacting existing operators or destination switching
Where is all this disposable income coming from?

Well they’ve got about a year to pull it if we can’t support it.

I’ve heard very good things about the sun express product. Used Corendon last year and thought they were very good aswell but Sunexpress seems the more popular of the two.

Are these connected to any tour operators or are they purely flight only? If it's the latter, would anyone even have hard of them?
Read elsewhere that TUI have reduced capacity on their routes so hopefully TUI will be using XQ capacity

It does show once more that the GLA market is very outbound focused. Speaking anecdotally vast majority of people I know are not interested in city breaks. Just sun sea and sand. This unfortunately is what drives the flights we get and the lack of meaningful connectivity. IMHO of course.

Long overdue and, quite frankly, this should have been in GLA first.
I can’t comment regards the GLA but the services from another Scottish airport have tour operator seats for holidays, namely, but not exclusively, TUI.
