Whats happened? Why has a new company been set up tail end last year?
No need for it under normal circumstances.

Maybe it’s to avoid paying UK tax on such a profitable business.

Good one son.
Very good indeed. One would have thought that to reduce tax burden they would have done that much earlier in the tax calendar.
Or of course, it may have nothing to do with paying UK tax.
We shall of course see in due course what web they weave.

Correct about the first part. The clue is in the thread title for your second point.

What do you see that nobody else can see?

TS is obviously Transport Scotland, the four companies mentioned in your post

TS PRESTWICK HOLDCO LTD - 22 October 2013
PRESTWICK AVIATION HOLDINGS LIMITED - 21 March 1991
GLASGOW PRESTWICK AIRPORT LIMITED - 3 December 1991
PRESTWICK AIRPORT LIMITED - 3 December 1991

Sorry I don't follow your comment

TS PRESTWICK HOLDCO was the vehicle set up by Scottish Ministers in 2013 to buy Prestwick Airport

The other three companies were set up in 1991 ahead of the original purchase of Prestwick Airport in 1992 by Matthew Hudson and these companies have continued to trade under Stagecoach and Infratil and now Scottish Ministers
