AGS are attending Routes 2024 in Bahrain next week, nothing in their profile page as yet
With less than three days to go until the event starts, it’s astonishing that AGS don’t have any information at all on their profile page.
Are they just going to turn up and hope that airlines or travel agents just rock-up and engage?

Yup. That's apparently how they roll.

Although not related to this event, I have a little experience with travel trade events.

The profile the public can see is rarely the same as the trade can see.

For WorldTravelMarket in London, the public can only see very very basic information, but trade and media (I'm in the latter) have an entire dedicated platform with information on stand holders and details on who is going to be on each stand.

I'm not saying it's the same for routes, but just felt it worth saying it might not be all that meets the eye

I’ve attended the World Travel Market a few times and will be there again next month. The trade days usually involve seminars, debates, competitions held by tourism companies, countries and airlines. The best I attended was an aviation seminar by John Strickland and a quiz on Germany hosted by air Berlin.
