One higher in Spain and Portugal:
Spain - Madrid, Barcelona, Palma, Malaga, Bilbao, Tenerife (albeit reduced to winter only)
Portugal - Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Funchal, Ponta Delgada

This is interesting. It might be a reflection of the UK's declining global standing following the massive act of self-sabotage.

More likely the vast majority of these flights have a leisure focus for Americans on their holidays..... Not many business centres amongst them. I know where id rather holiday if it's that list of destinations v the UK..

True. Scotland’s business and economic hub has been overlooked in favor of its tourist resort.

Edinburgh is the business and economic hub so that's completely untrue.

Sadly enough too true and it has been for some time now.

The abject failure of GLA to miss Sun Express, JetBlue, Westjet and Pegasus beggars belief.

There is no sign of Aer Lingus UK for Orlando even on a W pattern, or at the very least, an EI 320 for Dublin transfers as exists in EDI. Dare I suggest the calibre of the competition is superior? It can’t all be down to the debt mountain as the old rules of business is invest to accumulate.
