Now a full ten years since BA retired the 757.

Post by Allen McL »

October 30th was the actual final flight, EDI-LHR in a passenger carrying sense. There was supposed to have been a fan flight organised by Ian Allan Publishing, on something like 4th November, but that never happened in the end. I was down at GLA of course to see the final movement of a BA 757, having been there in 1983 to see the first one, as a school kid. I got to get some sirside video at GLA and boarded the final flight from EDI that evening, receiving a nice certificate too.

G-BIKB was the first and G-CPET was the last to visit GLA, a mere 27 years apart. Both wore the same livery and wow, how quickly has ten years passed ?
