easyJet eyeing Scottish expansion

Post by Clive »

This isn’t GLA specific so I’ll put it in this section.
Could be a big opportunity for GLA to stake a claim for expansion from easyJet

Given the amount of un-replaced Thomas Cook capacity to Europe, GLA should be able to make a good case for at least one extra unit for the beach fleet. There should also be scope for a few more unserved leisure city type routes. But, it will largely come down to the financial deals on offer.

The Thomas Cook capacity has been replaced tbf, albeit at EDI by EZY/FR. And Jet2 at GLA.
