Just watched the press conference, Glasgow, Dublin and London seem to be the UK routes with first flight set for 1st March 2021, Heathrow seems to be the preferred London airport
Any idea of the GLA schedule?
Nothing yet but some of the answers given are actually frightening.
1. The aircraft will not carry the designated number of lifevests, passengers can bring their own (i kid you not!!)
2. Passengers will not be charged when they book offering more flexibility
3. Lifevets have never saved any life in the Aviation industry

Should have stuck with the lube moniker. I have a feeling we're about to get shafted.
But in other Icelandic aviation news, it looks like the 737-Max wil be back amongst us fairly soon. The FAA have lifted the grounding order. Over to everyone else now. Spring 21 anyone ?

GLA was staying on the 757 wasnt it?
It was a mix before the grounding. And with Icelandair getting rid of a considerable chunk of it's 757 fleet recently, we'll be seeing more Max eventually. They have many more to receive including the 9 series as well as 8.
