I don't care too much now about AGS's lineage. I want them gone, out the door now while we still have a half decent chance of reversing GLA's fortunes otherwise we will be bottom of the heap in terms of UK wide regional airports and their pax numbers. We can't be too far from there now?
By the way, going through GLA yesterday to catch the 0700 EZY down to STN, there were 7 EZY aircraft on stand. That said gents, can we nudge this back to the subject matter please which I believe is Easyjet?
easyJet
Re: easyJet
Well easyJet have sixteen based aircraft across Central Scotland but I certainly give easyJet holidays a high rating. It would be good to see them upsize to the 321Neo at GLA at least for a couple of units.
My personal view is that, over time, the holiday business and the city pairs will diverge. Many city type routes are still ideally suited for 319/320 aircraft whereas the longer sector routes to the Canaries, Egypt and Turkey are ideally suited to 321s.
Rather than look east with envy it’s now even more important than ever that GLA builds on and expands on what they currently have. So cue moreTUI flights and destinations, upsizing from EZY and more 321s on the LHR flights. Extra BA Gatwick flights would be welcome too.
