BBC Scotland is midway through converting its staff carpark into a solar farm. Needless to say the staff are all facing redundancy
this year to pay for it. I just hope the residents moving into the new Prince's Quay under construction across the road have got welders masks to hand for when they open their curtains in the morning.

Aberdeen's service is A220 and has been operating since May although on a very low frequency

Sad to hear but not unexpected. In fact some rumours even state TUI May pull out of Scotland completely.

Long gone are the days of four based Britannia aircraft!

Was speaking with a work colleague today who i never knew is based at EDI has worked for TUI for a number of years, they were pretty gutted. As i think we all would be if it was our own job.

That’s so sad. Another round of redundancies and another based operator loss to the airport and handling agent. I liked checking in a TUI flight and at the gates. My short summer season of 787 departures at weekends seems a lifetime ago.

One of the hosties used to fly on RN from Glasgow before her withdrawal from service and we were reminiscing on the ramp pre departure on WB also flying to PMI.
