The only NOTAM I can see is an overnight closure over 03 to 04 August from 1845Z to 0645Z

Apologies. Misread the 031845 as 31st.

I'm assuming this is to repair the shoulder section ripped up last week by the Cargolux 748.

When, oh when, will the sale be announced? It’s months now since the election. The silence is deafening.

Told you the sale process was nothing to do with the election.

As others have also previously said the sale process was on ice due to the election. This isn’t a political statement it is a timing issue. We are now in July, nearly August. The silence is deafening.

Another recent comment alluded to the fact that unless PIK is sorted once and for all it bodes I’ll for the future of GLA.

That’s why I raised this issue once again.

So obviously the silence is nothing to do with the May election.

I’m not sure if you think the government think the sale is somehow a vote loser or a political hot potato. I’m certain that the successful conclusion and ultimate salvation of the facility will be welcomed throughout Ayrshire and Scotland when it comes.

Going about my business in Ayr I heard a strange aircraft going past and got quick snap of old smoky.

Looks like the answer to that question is "nothing to report". Meanwhile, in other news...

Referred to as 'Income related to the provision of specialist aviation services' in PIK's annual accounts (£4,452,000 in 2019/20 as noted in the article, £1,300,000 in 2018/19) - I'm very surprised that the auditor's let management away with that meaningless description in 2019/20 having defined it as 'Windfarm radar mitigation income' in 2018/19

PIK seems to have stopped releasing Minutes of Board Meeting although they were always heavily redacted
