Nor can I see Air Canada moving to GLA to accommodate the code share in Scotland. They could move to GLA but it wouldn’t be because of this.

Funny though how no one even contemplated EK staying put and Air Canada moving. Truth is nothing will alter in Scotland on the back of this code share agreement.
I think nobody mentioned AC moving to GLA from EDI is due to the fact that next year’s schedules are already finalised with a daily service.
Finalised? Is this another way in which EDI operates in a unique bubble? Nothing’s ever finalised.

Nobody addressed this point—-. Although, surely EK flights from MAN and BIR have same issues with passenger reductions/connections as GLA yet these have been fully reinstated?

Have Emirates themselves made any comments that they want/ are looking to return to 2 flights a day ex GLA? They’re going to loose their second plane load of passengers (who will reroute through other hubs) if they don’t pull out the finger and reinstate another flight soon. They’ve reinstated their full schedules at other main UK airports, which much also have the same increased cost/Oz traffic issues?
