I have been told that at some point this week, the outbound will position empty to either MAN or LHR. Getting this second hand so nothing official but a check on VS's website showed connections via LHR.
Yesterdays flight operated as normal. The Sunday outbound departure was cancelled due to a crewing Covid issue and the aircraft being required for an ISB departure instead.

ASAIK it’s business as usual, or at least whatever usual entails these days during the winter schedule.

The flight carries a KL codeshare for transfer passengers, of which there are some.

Jobs at EDI

https://www.linkedin.com/posts/edinburg ... 52864-YlIP

VACANCY - Edinburgh Airport is recruiting two Business Development Managers to drive revenue growth across the retail and land-based transport portfolio at the airport. Key categories include Duty Free, Shops, Catering, Car Rental, Public Transport and Advertising.

This a varied role which will suit an ambitious and entrepreneurially minded individual with a successful track record in deal negotiation.

I know this is the ‘Other Aviation’ category, but are we now also aiding in the recruitment for the main competitor to GLA by showing advertisements that can easily be found elsewhere or maybe just exercising the wooden spoon where/when not necessarily needed ?

Agree. Unless we are going to advertise job vacancies at all Scottish airports then I think we should stick to GLA.
