I do find the term "spitting our dummy's out" somewhat objectionable if I'm honest

Please feel free to replace my choice of words with something similar to describe the angst narrated by many on here.
Its merely a statement. Happy to update it should something better be provided.

Maybe “spitting feathers” might be appropriate. It’s a phrase my late mother used when she was annoyed at something.

My mother uses a few phrases when she’s annoyed at something & ‘Spitting feathers’ ain’t one of them …

That may well be however my mother, mother in law or many aunts would neither use or condone bad language. Unlike myself, who I have to confess has, has never sworn as much as the TV news at politicians of every hew, scientists and medics!
