AF adding CDG-MCO. If only theyโ€™d reinstate GLA-CDG with appropriate connecting times, this flight would be full at least 4 days a week.

Iirc AF operated to MCO a few years ago and dropped it.

You would think at the very least a 12 x weekly AF Hop E190 to CDG from GLA would be feasible. Crew shortage maybe the reason why it doesn't operate?

There really is an inexhaustible book of reasons airlines don't fly from here.
Wrong aircraft. Wrong Flight time. No crew. Its an endless list.
Perhaps they just don't fancy it.

Actually just checked, AF have more flights from NCL than they do from the airport in the east. ๐Ÿ˜ถ

AF in general are a bit of an oddball. ABZ never returned after Covid and EDI is down to 2x daily flights with HOP! instead of mainline.

Having recently flown AF long haul in PE and J on the A350-900, I found them to be good.

I think it's symptomatic of GLA's current malaise that we're discussing connecting onto flights to MCO rather than direct ones.

Reckon thatโ€™s the only reason for the OP.
