There was A LOT of military traffic in that area this morning, including umpteen USAF KC-135's a B-52, RAF and Nato traffic as well as fighter jets. I hope it's not been a collision or worse. The fact they are still looking for a pilot doesn't bode well.

Just been announced on BBC news that the body of the pilot has been found, sadly dead. Thoughts with all their family and colleagues at Lakenheath.
