Bristol base appears to be next for the former 'North's favourite airline':

Wonder if the base will be formed by additional aircraft joining the fleet or reallocating aircraft from existing bases.

GLA is 33 destinations, we've lost BCN and GNB. This also doesn't take in KEF, BUD and VIE.

I interpreted the comment from 'Ekally1' to mean 'the addition of Jet2 cements BRS's position in having more passengers than GLA'. So the use of 'them' in the comment referred to BRS rather than Jet2, but perhaps I'm wrong.

Three aircraft and 33 destinations according to Jet2's CEO (who should know): https://www.travelweekly.co.uk/articles ... rport-base

Looks like they’re after the formerThomasCook network at BRS. They also had 3*321 based serving most of these destinations.

TUI missing another trick? BRS along with BHX used to be a focus airport where new destinations, enhanced frequencies and increased 787 flights wee all programmed in.

Looks like Covid has impacted them more than Jet2.
