Far too slow. Extremely Incompetent would be a nice word to describe the UK govt response to covid19

Thats 2 words
Asinine is a better single word.
At this point the quarantine period is more for the safety of the arrivals than the residents.

There are very few passengers arriving on the flights that are operating. Most flights are still using the normal flight numbers but carrying cargo. Lots of passengers arrived at the beginning on repatriation flights. As we were already in lockdown conditions the passengers basically were isolating anyway. If they had no symmtons they were free to do like any of the rest of us. Most of the passengers where UK citizens.
Now that the world maybe about to start up again the quarantine will capture those passengers that arent UK citizens when they arrive in the Uk. Stopping them bringing anything else in.
