Just bought a CAM

First in over 40 years or so, just for the nostalgia of it. Even with glasses on you'd need binoculars to read as there are that many registrations to a page. Now over 19,000 British registered aircraft,helicopters, microlights and hot air balloons.
Still, good for a trip down memory lane. My mate has been a part-time aviation buff for a few years now and is fascinated with the FR24 app. He was asking if there's anyway he could note the aircraft that we see flying overhead, the tx stuff. So bought him a CAM and got meself one.Instantly transported back to the late seventies. Happy days.

Well done Bill. There's still room for printed records, even in this internet world. My first CAM was in 1967, an awful lot thinner than the current volume.

Good for you. Like PiperOne I also prefer printed material to online options. How I wish airlines would bring back a paper timetable.
Having said that I’d be lost without FR24, Lhr-lgw. co.uk, egpffqtv/egph sites and,of course, our own forum. Hope all good with you.

Already got the scars for that one mate. I'm going out now to polish the Model-T soon.

All good atuk thanks. The closer I get to retirement though the heavier the load seems at work. Ticking off the days, weeks, months and the last couple of years now.
