Ryanair have outlined plans to double its UK market share and place 100 additional aircraft into the UK

If that is the case, then you would think that most of the smaller UK airports without them will become bases. The bigger more established basis must be at or close to saturation point - EDI is already going through route roulette with a few cuts. Hope AGS isn't left out in the cold if so, there is a rumour on pprune that the BOH base could be doubled from 2 to 4 aircraft to stifle growth at SOU.

It’s now or never for GLA if that kind of expansion is on the cards.

Even if Ryanair were looking to base an additional 50 units in the UK. If GLA failed to secure 2 or 3 of those, I'd be very concerned.

Agree with you on that. Let's hope the calculations are being done to provide an amazing deal to secure some of this growth.

100%, I’ve flown to CRL, DUB, AGP, WMI & WRO from GLA with them since May last year and all bar CRL were sold out so there is definitely room for expansion

Excatamundo. That's where it all usually falls down. AGS. :(
They should be crawling over the proverbial broken glass to speak to FR, but somehow, you just know they ain't.

Mind you the way Edinburgh’s runway seems to be cracking up some GLA growth may sooner than you expect.

19 aircraft and 17 routes being removed from DUB for winter 2023/2024 in a row over charges and charging structure. I wonder if any aircraft will be reassigned to GLA?

Nah, to existing bases in Spain and at LTN apparently.
