EDI press release just landed. EDI-JFK will be summer seasonal from May to September. The August start would appear to be a red herring.

Even without pre clearance at EDI, GLA has kissed goodbye to the lot for the foreseeable.

It would be interesting to know what kind of inducement, if any, GLA management were offering JetBlue. Whatever it was, or wasn't it's been a massive failure given all the previous speculation by some on this forum (not me) that GLA was in the frame.

Edinburgh are just cramming in airlines to inflate their sale price.

What was it at EDI in S19? UA to EWR, ORD and IAD, AA to PHL and DL to BOS and JFK?

The raison d'etre of private equity, one shot at a sale and a big ROI . . . but it also puts more pressure on AGS for its bank loans negotiation next year given its huge debt mountain

It was interesting to see EDI's comments about the Wizzair move - frankly not bothered, (our key based airline) Ryanair already serve both cities (so their yields will improve making the value proposition of expanding at EDI more attractive) (my comments in brackets)
