Managed to get down yesterday for the RAF Chinook arriving from RAF Odiham. It brought in spares for another Chinook which went unserviceable during a Navex Sortie on Tuesday evening.

Nice shots Stewart. I noticed two Chinooks flying east to west roughly following the River Clyde on Tuesday after work.One carried on past the RWY23 threshold and the other was doing a large 360 over the west end.

Cheers Bill! It will have been the two which popped into GLA for fuel. They were expecting to route north up Loch Lomond and then back down south via perthshire. There was an issue re-starting one of them on the ground which scrubbed their plan and led to one spending the night at GLA.
