I get videos from an American living in Glasgow on my Tiktok feed. They made this tiktok about travel for visiting family members which is crazy:

They were originally booked to fly to Montana from GLA with LH. However the 6am LH flight was cancelled and they were rerouted GLA-DXB-SEA-Montana.
Is this the most extreme reroute you've heard of, or can anybody top that?

When travelling to Fiji, I was supposed to go via LHR <> LAX <> AUK but BA broke down at GLA, missed my Air New Zealand Connection and was then re-routed via Singapore and Brisbane to Auckland and then to Fiji. I have no idea what happened to my luggage. I got stranded in Fiji for 5 days with no luggage and my ongoing fliught to Tuvalu only took place twice a week. A 10 day holiday was cut to 4. On the bright side, my compensation from BA covered nearly all of my flights...
