Frustrating to see Icelandair utilising the 767 on same days as Play flights, whilst a stunning ac to see at GLA, why don’t they upgrade their service every day to this ,instead of trying to kill off Play? In my mind it indicates FI could have been offering a much better service for GLA in the past.
I just came back from Canada with Icelandair, FI430 on 16/06 was full and it was a 767.
Notable that it was at least 50% Americans, and on my outbound flight last week I heard people at GLA checking in to Denver, New York and Raleigh Durham.
On the return, at least 10 people started in KEF and then connected in GLA with Emirates to Manila via Dubai. Due to the tight connection, EK had staff at the top of the jet bridge to meet them and take them where they needed to go.

No flights available for S24 yet - has PLAY dropped the route?
An updated S24 ACL reports that Play have been allocated slots for a daily service from EDI. It would appear that they may be intending to move along the M8.
Well woopy doo for edi .. bet you couldn't wait to post that ... they may have slots .. doesn't mean they will use them. PLAY fling slots about like confetti so let's see if it actually happens.

And pitch-up directly against EZY with almost the same product and almost identical aircraft? That will be a race to the bottom imho.
Where is EDI going to park them airlines are already waiting up to a hour on the taxiway for a gate plus the route is well covered with
Iceland air and easy jet I don’t think they will last at EDI maybe they should try PiK.
