Nada to do with Turnhoose, and I’m very glad because this forum is about our airport at GLA. Piper One’s figures are clearly for GLA in 2024 v GLA in 2004.

PiperOne wrote: Wed Sep 18, 2024 7:49 pm On a historic note, 20 years ago in July 2004, GLA had its first ever million passenger month, with a total of 1010032 and a 12-month rolling figure of 8.32m, and a 4% share of the UK market. So this year's 846250, 7.76m, and 2.7% is a long way short. 2004 was the first year of Dubai, Philadelphia, and Globespan.

Traffic split this year (2004)
International...532464 (575408)
Domestic........313786 (430976)

So a very noticeable decline of domestic, with International not quite so bad, but I would suggest still a lot of work to be done.
It's shocking that over 20 years, GLA has remained largely unchanged in an industry that continues to grow. A lack of growth over such a long period can only be seen as a significant failure, especially when you look at the growth of aviation in general over the same time. Any organisation that has stagnated for two decades in a growing industry can only be classed as a failure. AGS must go!

T'was a tad tongue in cheek tbf. A thread about GLA's CAA stats quickly turned to QR/TK at EDI. Maybe I was too subtle?
