I’d imagine they’ll consolidate at GLA for their Scottish ops.
You would like to think so but in this climate all bets are off and I bet EDI will be all over them like a dog on heat
if that's the case, then it's never been so important as now for Team GLA to step up to the plate and start saving routes and airline business from restarting at Edinburgh only.

I've posted on the Edinburgh thread why I think EDI might not be able to be overly aggressive in trying to retain routes.

AGS are going to be cash strapped too. In fact all airports are. But no reason to assume EDI will be more successful on retaining routes at GLA’s expense.

It’s weird how we think EDI’s management know what they’re doing better than GLA’s management do. Nothing could be further from the truth IMO. The airports chiefly serve different cities and different markets. Airlines serve cities and markets, not airports.

All IMO as ever.

I think this could help gla restructure a level playing field ... I know it's a horrible time with this virus but they have to put that aside and make it count

Yeah, I just don't know whether the amount of expansion EDI have done recently leaves them more vulnerable than the likes of AGS etc.

It’ll likely put into disarray GIP’s plans for selling the asset.

Anyway, we’d better get back to Lufthansa in this thread.

That's probably because Dewar is never out of the news or shy about dishing out sound bites left, right and centre. Our MD appears to be happy to blend into the background by comparison.
