Jet2 phoned to say that our rescheduled villa holiday to Malta on Monday 16th June 2021 has been cancelled...seems for S21 to Malta they had flights on Mondays and Thursdays but as bookings are down to 2019 levels at the moment they have taken the decision to axe the Monday flights for the whole summer season.

Complete refund for this holiday is forthcoming however couldn't refund the admin fee of £100 we paid to reschedule in the first instance.

Gave me an Admin email address to contact and explain the circumstances...said they may be sympathetic

I think Jet2 should be taken to task on this. Covid-19 and resulting cancellations are not the fault of the public nor indeed the airline. I'm all for paying for a days work if a job needs doing, but to have an "admin fee" at £100 is just taking the piss. And still they expect us to re-book further down the line. For Jet2 changing a booking is a few minutes work by some lowly paid person sitting at a computer. Still, I am expecting them to cancell my TFS flight in November. I shall be asking them to justify the £100 admin fee i'm afraid, should I be charged. Whether or not i get any satisfaction remains to be seen, but at least I'll feel better. Today got my money back for hotel and ferry to Arran for October with no hassle whatsoever.

Heraklion makes a brief return for 4 flights. 1 once weekly from 24/10/2020
Rhodes gets 3 additional flights. 1 once weekly from 30/10/2020

Other Greek destinations no change return Summer 2021.
