I think EZY could do a x2 weekly service similar to our JER ... they do have a presence there anyway

Not so sure that would work given the short distance and the need to fill 156 seats being the lowest capacity in the fleet. If you can’t fill a 30+ seat SF340 how will you fill an A319.

It not that I wouldn’t want to see the route restored but given today’s economic climate no airline, however large or small, will throw caution to the winds. They’ll stick to tried and tested.

Easyjet already operate similar length flights to BFS, BRS, LPL & MAN so perfectly feasible

Not saying right now , when covid has passed , if its marketed right, which i do believe they are better doing at than LM no offence , 2 weekly could work ... you wouldnt think you could fill those seats to JER , they do and works fine

And remember Jersey increases to 5xweekly during peak summer, so IOM could follow suit

Maybe, time will tell but I still don’t believe that such a market exists in Glasgow to fill that volume. Even the daily flights in 1973 were covered by a BIA Herald a forty six seater.

Jersey has solid holiday traffic and in the past many Pax were carried by bmi via EMA. I know this from personal experience all the times and flew back and forward there on the DC9s and Fokker. In addition many a tour operator holiday booked to Jersey in the shop using these EZY flights.

Eastern have apparently already pulled their route! Seems
To me like Loganair have all but usurped Easterns attempt at a base in MME. North of England and Scotland clearly Loganairs patch you could say.

So much for Loganair never going into Heathrow though, they must be getting quite the package from MME to give this investment.
