Am I correct in thinking that only the A332 fleet is currently leisure/mixed configuration ? The A333 and 787, plus current A350 fleet are a mix of business/economy seating ? The next question will be, are they going to receive or defer the beach fleet A350's ?awwdabaaby wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2020 4:19 pmSummer 2020 still showing as 747 with A332 operating winter, there is a little confusion over summer 2021 however as Wednesday shows 747 and Saturday A332, with no Friday flight, however Virgin Holidays show Friday and Saturday flights

Re: Virgin
Is that now 4 stored VS aircraft now along with 14 x BA and the 3 x TUI AND 3 X BE?
Anyone know what gates they are still using at the airport,i.e,there are no parked long term residents on them?

Re: Virgin
Seems everything is being concentrated on the old domestic pier, checking departures Loganair mainly use gate 1, not sure about the other but the BA shuttle when it appears has been using gate 10
Re: Virgin
Cheers for the quick reply John.Must have parked up metal at almost every other gate then I'd imagine?awwdabaaby wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 8:29 pmSeems everything is being concentrated on the old domestic pier, checking departures Loganair mainly use gate 1, not sure about the other but the BA shuttle when it appears has been using gate 10
Re: Virgin
Yeah that's about the size of it. As said all operational aircraft seem to be working from the east pier including BA. The west and central piers are pretty well occupied with stored aircraft. The west security gate and kiosk have also been closed throughout this period too. It's all slightly surreal round that end. I saw one solitary airport cabbie at the west overspill and all the limos serving Emirates parked up in a holding area near the fuel farm. Let's hope things pick up in June.

You can add BA A320 G-EUUY on Stand 65 plus Loganair's EMB135s G-SAJT & G-SAJU and EMB145s G-SAJD, G-SAJH & G-SAJJ and Jet2's B737s G-JZBA, G-JZBB, G-JZBC, G-JZBE, G-JZHM, G-JZHU & G-JZHZ
