Not good for gla .... i asked VS on twitter , they said both airports will have service but could be another nail as when airlines so that i dont believe them as social media people dont really know ... however gla seems to retain MCO services better than edi so lets hope edi doesnt perform as well

Reading the reply to awwdabaaby on Twitter, it seems that GLA is indeed being replaced by EDI

This says GLA is cut.

Also seems to imply that the decision was heavily influenced by Delta on grounds of consolidation and cost cutting.

Delta fly GLA-JFK though, unless they are cutting that too?

Just checked, Delta offering GLA-JFK via AMS for next June.
EDI-JFK is on a 767

I've been sitting on this in the hopes it wasn't true but it VS are indeed shifting, that leaves Glasgow with no flights to the US AT ALL, with the exception of the charter flights with TUI, as United have no flights to New York listed

Absolutely shocking from GLA management

No idea. Was EDI not year round or scheduled to go year round when the pandemic hit, with GLA being limited seasonal service?
