LS reducing numerous frequencies on routes for S22. Some of the changes:

ALC down to WEEKLY in July/August 2022
TFS down to TWO WEEKLY in July/August
PMI down to FIVE WEEKLY in August

Is this a sign of how low uptake in overseas travel will be next summer?

I think there is a problem with the booking section. Applies to all UK airports, have a look in the timetable section to see planned flying

Jet 2 to suspend all flights until at least 23rd June

Hopefully GLA will see some of these based for extra capacity on the popular routes in the future!

Interesting change of tact for them to move away from Boeing but the A321 does fit as a replacement for their 757s.

On the jet2 plc announcement it also suggests they could increase the order up to 60.

More A321neos ordered! Seems likely some will be Seen at Glasgow at somepoint I would think.

It will be interesting to see where the future of the fleet heads.

I think we will continue to be a boeing base ... the cost of being a multi base will be better suited to bigger bases such as MAN, LBA etc ... think we wont see a neo for a while unless its a new york rotation

Jet2 flights to Prague now suspended until March 3rd, then operating until mid may-before being suspended again until October. Forgive me but these flights look doomed until next winter.

Yes and they are also calling back those who were trained and due to start for summer 2020 but were stood down before they got started.

We can also expect Airbuses to join the GLA base in due course, contrary to early forum speculation.

Most recent schedule update by LS confirms that Prague, Krakow and Rome are not running in peak S22. Furthermore schedules for all three routes for W22/23 were loaded as well;

Prague - Thursday and Sunday (flights will run from March 3rd 2022 until May 15th 2022, then suspended until October 6th 2022, schedule loaded until March 23rd 2023). I think this route may be next up on the chopping block looking at the schedule.

Krakow - Monday and Friday (flights run until June 13th 2022 then suspended until September 2nd 2022, schedule loaded until March 24th 2023)

Rome - Monday and Friday (flights will run from February 11th 2022 until June 13th 2022 then suspended until September 2nd 2022, schedule loaded until March 24th 2023)

Geneva - Will run in W21/22 on Saturday between December 26th and April 16th, returns in W22/23 running between December 24th and April 15th
