It is going to be a long slow slog . . . . my forecast would be daily to GLA & EDI by September and no chance of the increase to double daily until summer 2021

Routes Digest only announced what was starting in June not beyond then so hopefully it will be. Problem is everything is so fluid right now, even handling companies don’t have final confirmation of everything yet. Hopefully this quarantine nonsense will get sorted out properly and sensibly. That would be a good starter.

As it was from April, May & June . . . . I'm afraid as ATUK stated it is very fluid

I'm particularly interested in July as my wife & daughter are booked to go to a 'hen do' to Budapest (depart GLA am, day sightseeing in Frankfurt, depart FRA pm) - the 'hen do' has been cancelled as have flights from EDI booked by some other attendees eg Brussels Airlines, Ryanair

Not much I can contribute to this thread other than this photo I took on March 18th as 'lock down' was on finals. I'm not sure if this was the last Lufthansa departure before the cessation ?

Flights to Glasgow to Budapest via Frankfurt in early July cancelled today so no immediate resumption of flights at Glasgow, indeed looking at the Lufthansa website for Edinburgh to Frankfurt the only options coming up are Eurowings to Cologne Bonn then train or Edelweiss/Swiss via Zurich

I doubt we'll see it return for many months, maybe the beginning of the summer 2021 schedules and not double daily

I don't see much of anything International returning, until the quarantine regimes in the UK and overseas are lifted, and the FCO removes or relaxes the non-essential travel advice.
