Need some help (nothing bad don't worry)

Post by GeorgeNTravels »

Hi folks, need some help with writing some posts for my blog about flights from GLA.

I want to write posts about 1 stop connections, particularly to the USA given the state of the GLA route network next year.

I know I need to write about:

BA - LHR & LGW
EI - DUB
KLM - AMS
FI - KEF

Am I missing any from that list?

Also, should I write about each one individually, or should I put them all in one big post? I feel writing about each one individually would allow more sample schedules to be given out, which might benefit people.

Any and all feedback is welcome, just please make it constructive, and for the love of god, don't just say "go to Edi"

Thanks.

You need to add LH to your list as UA/LH offer connections over FRA.

Also have you checked Westjet and their code share partners? Sometimes folks go to USA via Canada. I have family who stay in Ontario who were not far from Detroit and my wife’s cousin’s in BC often flew via Spokane as it was cheaper.

Can't believe I missed LH as I am doing a US connection with them next year

Good shout with WestJet, i'll do some research and see what I can find.

Thanks

Air Transat do GLA-YYZ-YVR or YYC or YUL on a through ticket.

Thanks Clive didn't know that, I think because of the number of airlines now I will just give each one it's own short post and highlight some of the common destinations e.g. NYC, BOS, ORD and LAX but also try and point out some more unusual ones like DEN, SEA, SFO & ATL.

Don’t know if your blog is for a global audience but if so remember this is also relevant to North American visitors to the West of Scotland and you could elucidate them if the connections from their end and extol the virtues of visiting Glasgow, the west coast and Isles via our hassle-free airport.

Good shout, I know some people in my uni read it so they know if GLA has flights for them to take to get home, the stats I can see suggest around 20% of the reader base is from outside the UK, however, even people from England could benefit from it as well.

I have published a post about Loganair and where they serve from Glasgow and have published a post about EI services via Dublin. I have also written one about the Oneworld alliance via London Heathrow, Icelandair via Reykjavik (included their stop over options), KLM via Amsterdam and Sky Team connections, Lufthansa connections at Frankfurt and the Star Alliance options available there.

I have included links to the Loganair post at the bottom of the other posts that will allow people to easily view both as well as providing some external links to sources about what to do in Glasgow.
