If there were no cuts to other routes that takes EZY to 251 departures per week, still keeping them as the largest airline at the airport by departures

easyJet now have 252 departures making them the largest airline at EDI in terms of departures per week.

Ryanair come in close second with 230 departures per week (also served by all 5 Ryanair brands)

Interestingly VS to Orlando is now carrying a KLM codeshare (KL2505/6) and is being offered as a Europe-Orlando option, changing planes at AMS and EDI. Bizarrely, you can book MCO-GLA using this service, via EDI & AMS. EDI does not have a flight connection facility, so quite how do you transit without entering and exiting the UK?

From what I hear ... sales have not been breathtaking . With covid its hard to tell but this is a mistake by VS .. Gla was doing well and even going year round .

Looks like Virgin have dropped EDI-BGI, at least for now. I have been told that at some point this week, the outbound will position empty to either MAN or LHR. Getting this second hand so nothing official but a check on VS's website showed connections via LHR.
