Glasgow still also only served once per hour by train from London Euston (the bi-hourly Euston via Brum train hasnt returned). The passengers are there...

One for my abiding memories of STN was the PIK service being reduced to a midday departure afternoon arrival then it was ditched!

EDI Friday nights when I finished my last KL flight with two STN the 8888 and 8824 back to back and then the afternoon half of my TCX friends turned up to deadhead when the GLA 321s were operating there for the English peak summer.

Plus a few new routes from NCL and LPL too - just shows how much GLA is missing out by not having an FR base.

To come back to Edinburgh, I see it also appears the Flyr EDI-OSL may be getting dropped after only staring to in April. Maybe they should've picked to fly from unserved GLA rather than go up against DY from EDI.

Traditional winter ski destinations which TUI could have operated from GLA.

Yet more specialist traffic being lost at GLA.

Same as at GLA, ridicules waiting times for luggage, although (I’d) imagine problem at EDI worse than GLA due to passenger numbers and frequency of wide bodies. Covid layoffs & (bastard) Brexit a major factor in all of this.

A combination of quarts and pint pots.

Today has been hectic to say the least. Sunwing excelled themselves yesterday ABZ-CFU-EDI-ABZ. Cue replacement outbound flight to CFU this afternoon - this flight carries cruise passengers and the ship sailed yesterday,

So glad my own cruise flight to CFU is booked from GLA in October.

Add to that a tech FR this morning, a replacement crew member taxied to EDI from GLA and no tug to push back WIzz for BUD. My FHY was around 45minutes late due to PRM issues on the inbound and lack of cleaners. Thank God QR was fully boarded on time.
