First time in Majorca since 2006, a 3-night break with Expedia, booked for Hotel Linda, but re-booked as it was closed. Flight down by Jet2, return on Easyjet Europe. Only 30 on board going down, ram-jam on the way back.
Glasgow security was a breeze, no delays at all, and the obligatory roll and sliced sausage at the Caledonia bar went down well. Coffee on Jet2, catering was limited due to the light load. Palma arrivals were straightforward, less than 10 minutes from getting off to being landside.
The Hotel Linda is a recommended spotting hotel, in C'an Pastilla, with good airport views. However, we arrived to find a note on the door saying it was closed for the season, and all bookings were transferred to the Alua Leo, fortunately less than a kilometre away, and with good airport views, see photo below.

The waterfront was well provided for eateries and small supermarkets, ideal for topping up. Local public transport is cheap and frequent, buses are E2 flat fare (E5 for airport services), and limited stop services operate to central Palma.
