Interesting that Swiss are converting ZRH-BRS to year round. Wonder if Edelweiss' ZRH-EDI could be transferred to mainline on the A220 or by Helvetic on the E190-E2. There is a fair amount of banking traffic between the two that probably isn't that well captured by Edelweiss.

A very interesting read and gives a good insight into ownerships of the airports.

The Glasgow Airport description below (shown when you hover over the name) is obviously way out of date, so other fact checking may be required:

"Serving what is officially Scotland’s largest city, Glasgow Airport is Scotland’s leading long-haul airport with a choice of services to the Middle East, the Gulf, Asia, Australasia and North America. The airport also serves the islands of Scotland as well as a range of European destinations. The airport is owned by AGS Airports Limited."

In the articles defence AGS and GLA still claim they are Scotland's leading long haul airport and serve over 100 destinations, however, I do agree they could have double checked that.

Slots apparently filed for a new transatlantic route in 2023, not sure where. Possibly return of AA?

Air Canada I reckon, possibly Halifax to replace westjet from GLA

I think historically AC have generally stuck to just LHR from YHZ so I'd be surprised if they suddenly started EDI.

I know WJ obviously operated GLA up until now, but the fact they canned it (and 1 or 2 other routes - CDG?) wouldn't necessarily suggest that these YHZ tx flights are all that lucrative. So, would it really be that attractive for AC?
