My thoughts exactly and if that is the case then fair PLAY to GLA for getting in early with a replacement if that is what’s happening with FI.

So Icelandair either compete with play who only have about 5 or 6 onward connections or move east and compete with EZY, UA, DL, WS, VS & AC 🤔🤔🤔

Aye but some folk in this forum are obsessed by the beast in the east. Even good news is met with derision.

Surprised at this - thought it was a no brainer for EDI given that they operate into smaller US airports akin to what Norwegian did from EDI. EDI still has no connections via KEF and easyJet is only 2x weekly in summer. Good news for GLA though, hopefully means Icelandair will return to daily.

Not obsessed in the slightest .. history recently tells a different story as everybody should know . Eg VS, WS, AA , UA W6 etc etc etc , do I need to go on ? .
On a positive well done team gla , hopefully many more surprises to come
