Great time for a serious investor to buy GLA at a bargain price then grow the asset. Not really interested in the other airports in the group.

Presumably the airport manager has the autonomy to make commercial deals with the airlines. In the face of the company losses you have highlighted, creating growth is the only way out other than bailing out.Bearsden wrote: ↑Sat Oct 15, 2022 10:58 amI beg to suggest that local management are mere pawns in this private equity chess game - the agenda will all be driven by Ferrovial & Macquarie
AGS Airports Holdings Limited lost £112m in 2021 on a turnover of £87m (2020 was a loss £133m on £72m revenue, 2019 was a profit of only £8m on £212m revenue) . . . Retained Losses to 31 Dec 2021 have reached £151m
In 2019 the annual EBITDA (Earnings before Interest, Tax, Depreciation & Amortisation) was £92m - in the first six months of 2022 it was just £19m so less than 50% of the 2019 run rate but Q3 should boost earnings . . . however the reported numbers still point to another annual loss (we will find out the nine months picture in a couple of weeks)

100% agree mate but the schedule and the routes just seem to me to be ramshackle and random, with the exception of DUB and AGP. It's almost like they (FR) are keeping a prescence at GLA but at a bare minimum for some reason. Maybe if the airport eventually does free itself from AGS management then the sky's the limit for FR? We can but hope.

Cheers Bill, especially as I've been struck down with a virusbill wrote: ↑Sat Oct 15, 2022 11:47 amGreat work as always John. FR's GLA schedule over the recent years seriously bores me though. Better than nowt I suppose?awwdabaaby wrote: ↑Thu Oct 13, 2022 4:47 pm Monday

Re: Ryanair Summer 2023 as of 13th October 2022
EDI-STN operated last winter and increased frequency for this summer season. Added to this are BHD and BOH all usually flown by RK aircraft not FR.
Re: Ryanair Summer 2023 as of 13th October 2022
Thank you gents. Anything on the GLA-STN service at all?
