GLA not really a priority it seems
BHD-GLA wasn't served.
There is rescue flights from DUB also , which we will not be receiving but seems everywhere else seems to ... wasn't talking about BHD

Yep, GLA received Aer Lingus Regional services other than BHD too.

They'll likely be accommodated on the EDI flights.

With the distance between Glasgow and Edinburgh airports so close and the likelihood that there are more Edinburgh passengers than Glasgow it makes a lot of sense for AL to send in their A320 to accommodate both to/from Edinburgh

Honestly... it's a couple of replacement flights. Given the A320 has more than double the capacity of an ATR it makes sense to save cash and combine the services. They'll be taking every opportunity they can to avoid pissing money down the drain in the current climate.

my point was a general one ... gla and edi on 40 miles apart , central belt has to many airports

Aer Lingus still listing Dublin - Glasgow on their website, but not on sale.
